TOWSON, Md. – Mikey Weisshaar and Joe Petro have been honored for a second time as 2025 All-Americans as the duo has been named 2025 Nike Lacrosse Media All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse.
 
Weisshaar was selected as Third Team at attack while Petro is honorable mention at close defense.  Both earn their second All-America selection of the season, with each being picked as All-Americans by USA Lacrosse Magazine last week.
 
The Nike Lacrosse Media All-Americans are voted on by media members who vote in the weekly Inside Lacrosse media poll.
 
Weisshaar moved from midfield to attack for Towson this year, leading Towson in total points with 72, goals with 48 and assists with 24, also adding 15 caused turnovers and 40 ground balls.  The CAA Offensive Player of the Year had at least three points in 12 games this year.
 
Petro helped anchor the defense for Towson, leading the team in caused turnovers with 25 and adding 50 ground balls.  The All-CAA First Team defender had at least three caused turnovers in five games in 2025.
 
The pair helped Towson win the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Tournament and regular season titles, finishing 11-6 overall and 7-0 in the league.  The Tigers earned their second trip in two years to the NCAA Tournament, falling to 3-seed Princeton on Saturday in the first round.
