Swim & Dive Announce Ryan Lincicum as Assistant Coach

TOWSON, Md. – Ryan Lincicum has joined the Towson University men's and women's swimming and diving teams as an assistant coach, head coach Anthony Bruno announced Friday.

"Ryan will be a great addition to our program!" Coach Bruno stated, "Ryan had a great experience as a student athlete, and I know he'll be able to build strong connections this season with our team members. Ryan will be supporting all areas of the program and working with a verity of training groups. I think Ryan's experience as a finalist at the conference level and a main stay on relays for ODU will be valuable as we chase a CAA championship this season."

Lincicum graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology while minoring in exercise science and sport management and spent four years on the Monarch men's swimming & diving team specializing in the 50m, 100m, and 200m freestyle.

As a senior, Lincicum earned top ten finishes in the 100 free (45.06) and 200 free (1:39.28) at the 2025 ASUN Championships and was a part of 400 and 800 free relay teams that both claimed bronze medals. He was an A-finalist in the 2022 and 2023 CCSA Championships as a freshman and sophomore.

"I'm so excited to join Towson swimming and diving." Lincicum said, "It's an honor to be part of such a strong program and have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of student-athletes and staff. Coach Bruno has shared his goals for the season, and I look forward to turning them into a reality. Goh Tigers!"

Lincicum was also a division 15 head coach in the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL) from 2021-2024 where he coached a variety of age groups and led the Burke Station Destroyers to a cumulative 15-5 record and a 2024 Division 15 Championship. In 2025 he became the head coach of NVSL division 1 team Highlands Swim Team, whom he led to the team's best record since 2019.
