TOWSON, Md. – Towson University gymnasts Isabella Minervini and Natalie Lindgren have been honored as East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) weekly award winners, announced by the league on Wednesday.
 
Minervini is the EAGL Gymnast of the Week while Lindgren is the EAGL Rookie Specialist of the Week.
 
Minervini earns her second EAGL Gymnast of the Week selection this season and seventh of her Towson career while Lindgren notches her first-ever league weekly honor.  Each assisted Towson getting its top team score of the season at Arizona with a 195.400.
 
Minervini kept rising in the record book after tying for first on the all-around with a 39.450 score.  The senior from Fleming Island, Florida also had a career-high on beam with a 9.900, also finishing second on bars with a 9.875.
 
Lindgren, in just her third collegiate meet, earned a 9.850 on the floor, a new career-high and finishing tied for fifth in the event.  The freshman from Fair Haven, New Jersey earned over a 9.825 on floor for the second straight meet.
 
The Tigers head north to New Hampshire for an EAGL meet at UNH on Feb. 1 at 1 p.m., also facing Yale.
