TOWSON, Md. – The two-time defending Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) champion Towson University men's lacrosse team has announced the schedule for the 2026 campaign.
 
The Tigers has a 14-game regular season schedule, including six games at the friendly confines of Johnny Unitas® Stadium and a full six-game CAA slate.  Towson will be playing four Maryland-based teams in non-conference play.
 
The Tigers are coming off two strong campaigns in 2024 and 2025.  Towson has been undefeated in CAA play the past two years in regular season and tournament contests, defeating Drexel 13-10 in the 2025 CAA title game to advance to its second straight NCAA Tournament.  Towson has finished in the top-15 nationally each of the last two years.

The team has a pair of scrimmage days, playing against Salisbury at Kent Island High on Sunday, Jan. 18 at noon then hosting Bucknell and Mercer at home for scrimmages on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m.
 
Towson begins the season at home against the 8-seed of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, North Carolina, on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 12 p.m.  This is the first game between Towson and North Carolina since the 1991 NCAA title game.
 
Next game, Towson takes the short trek to Homewood Field in Baltimore for a battle against Johns Hopkins on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 4 p.m.
 
Towson comes back home to play versus Navy on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m.  Following a trip to Philadelphia to play at Saint Joseph's on Friday, Feb. 20 at 5 p.m., Towson then plays UMBC at home on Friday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
 
The Tigers are away from home in their next four games leading into CAA play.  The road travels begin with a drive to Charles Street to play at Loyola on Tuesday, Mar. 3 at 6 p.m., then a trip down south to Virginia on Saturday, Mar. 7.  Non-conference play will conclude with a return to the Philadelphia area for a game at Villanova on Saturday, Mar. 14 at noon.  The next week, the Tigers are set for CAA play on Long Island at Stony Brook on Saturday, Mar. 21.
 
The team returns home in a rematch of the 2025 CAA title game against Drexel on Saturday, Mar. 28 at 3 p.m.  This game is the second contest of a doubleheader with the Towson women's lacrosse team, which plays Hofstra at noon.  Towson's homestand continues versus Monmouth on Saturday, Apr. 4 at noon.
 
Two road contests come next, each Saturday noon games, at Towson plays at Hampton on Apr. 11 and at Fairfield on Apr. 18.
 
The regular season concludes on Saturday, Apr. 25 at noon at Unitas as the Tigers battle Hofstra.
 
The 2026 CAA Tournament will be hosted by the league regular season champion.  The semifinals will be on Thursday, Apr. 30 and the title game is on Saturday, May 2.
