HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Towson University women's basketball team visited Long Island on Friday evening to face the Hofstra Pride in the team's first Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) road test of the season.
Towson (9-5, 2-0 CAA) built a ten-point lead in the opening quarter before Hofstra (3-11, 1-2 CAA) flipped the script in the second quarter. The Pride closed the half on a 13-0 run to tie the game at 21 at the break. The teams traded the lead for much of the third quarter as the Pride went up three with ten minutes to go. The Tigers retook the lead in the closing minute of the game to win 47-46.

- Tilda Sjökvist had a team-high four assists. It marks the tenth game this season she has had at least a share of the team-lead in 14 games.
