TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University gymnastics team had a historic day on floor exercise, earning a 49.450 team score for the second-highest finish in program history in a third-place finish at Sunday's quad-meet.
Towson finished with a team score of 195.675, its third straight meet with a 195+ score. The Tigers defeated Ursinus at 191.775 and were behind N.C. State at 197.150 and West Virginia at 196.350.
Towson's 49.450 team score on floor is the second-highest in school history, only behind the Tigers' 49.650 achieved on Feb. 23, 2024. It is the fourth consecutive meet and seventh competition this season where Towson had at least a 49 team score on floor.

Isabella Minervini all were part of the three-way tie for first on floor at 9.900. Minervini also took first in the all-around at 39.400, just .050 shy from her career-high, and on bars at 9.925.
How it Happened for Towson (in Rotation Order)
- Vault (rotation one) – 48.975
- Bars (rotation two) – 48.275
- Beam (rotation three) – 48.975
- Towson picked up a couple of 9.8+ scores to begin the beam, starting with Emma Duerre hitting a 9.800, then Polina Belanovski following with a 9.825.
- Towson had to take a 9- score on the bars. Isabella Minervini finished strong on the anchor with a 9.925.
- Floor (rotation four) – 49.450
Inside the Numbers
- Isabella Minervini has won the all-around seven times in nine meets this season. Her 39.400 score ties for seventh all-time in Towson history.
- Isabella DeCroo set a new career-high on floor at 9.900 and Carmella Calafati had a season-high with her 9.900. Each have earned at least a 9.875 on floor for the third straight meet.
- Natalie Lindgren earned a new career-high on floor at 9.875.

- Towson returns to Philadelphia on Thursday, March 5 at 5 p.m. for a quad-meet at Temple, also taking on Maryland and Penn. Towson vs. Temple is an East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) competition.
