TOWSON, Md. – Former Towson University baseball player
Jordan Peyton has agreed to terms with the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB), an official Major League Baseball (MLB) Partner League.
Established in 1998, the ALPB is MLB's first Official Partner League, a proven gateway for players to reach the major leagues. The ALPB represents the highest level of professional baseball outside of MLB and has sent more than 1,400 players to MLB organizations.
The ALPB features ten clubs scattered across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States that play a 126-game schedule.
The Colonial Beach, Va., native slashed .289/.379/.403 with 10 doubles, four home runs, 33 RBIs and 43 runs scored for the Tigers in the 2025 season. That came off the heels of an All-CAA honorable mention selection after his junior campaign where he batted .336 with 40 runs scored, six home runs and a team-leading 41 RBIs.
Following the conclusion of the 2025 season,
Peyton played 51 games for three teams in the MLB Draft League. His most notable stop was with the West Virginia Black Bears, where he batted .213 with three doubles, a triple, 10 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
