TOWSON, Md. – Two Towson University baseball players, Nich Francuzenko and AJ Kolb, have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® honors for their exemplary performance both on the field and in the classroom, announced by CSC on Tuesday.
 
To qualify academically, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
 
Francuzenko batted .231 with seven doubles, four home runs, 30 RBIs, 32 runs scored and four stolen bases in 48 games this season. The Virginia native boasted a .987 fielding percentage in the field, committing just two errors in 156 chances.
 
Kolb slashed .317/.381/.374 with one double, two home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored in 43 games. The Berlin, Maryland native was 10 for 11 on stolen bases.
 
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
