TOWSON, Md. – Towson University women's soccer will play Delaware for the 34th time in program history on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Newark, Del. The 34th match between the two sides will be the most common match in Towson history.
The Tigers and Fightin' Blue Hens have played to four straight draws.
Towson is coming off a 2-2 draw to George Washington while Delaware is coming off a 2-2 draw to Navy. Both teams have played George Washington this season, Towson played to a draw while Delaware came away with a 3-2 win on Aug. 15.
THE KICKOFF

• In the Vettori era, the two sides have been virtually even, most recently playing to a 2-2 draw on Aug. 28, 20225. The Vettori Era series is equal at 2-2-4 with each side going 1-1-2 at each venue.
• Offensively, the Tigers are led by CAA Preseason Player of the Year Kale'a Perry who has two goals on the season. She has scored in each match she has played the full 90 minutes.
• Sofia Rosenblatt has had a breakout first week of the season. The New York native scored the first goal of her collegiate career in Queens against St. John's and followed it with a goal in the home opener against George Washington.
• Delaware starts the season with five matches at home while four of Towson's first five matches are on the road.
• The Fightin' Blue Hens have been led offensively this season by Maggie Groh, who has nine points (4G, 1A) this season. Groh has scored on 50% of her shots so far.
• Delaware was picked to finish third in Conference USA, receiving the only first place vote Liberty did not receive.
• Delaware has not recorded a clean sheet in five straight matches. Towson has not been shut out in their past six matches.
