TOWSON, Md. – Towson University men's and women's swimming & diving head coach Anthony Bruno has announced the full 2026-27 Towson swimming & diving schedule Friday morning.
The Tigers enter the new season after a 2025-26 campaign that saw both the men (second) and women (third) earn top three overall placements at the CAA Championships. The conference championships also saw head coach Anthony Bruno named CAA Men's Swimming Coach of the Year and diving coach Sergey Meshcherskiy earn the CAA Men's and CAA Women's Diving Coach of the Year awards after Towson divers were named CAA Men's and Women's Divers of the Year.
Towson men's swim & dive enter the new season returning NCAA qualifier in the 100 and 200 breast
Jed Garner, as well as Christion Davidson who also won a pair gold medals in the 500 and 1500 freestyle at the 2026 CAA Championships. Other returning CAA medalists include
Benjamin Eischeid (100 Fly),
Stephen McDonald (500 Free),
Isak Brkanovic (200 Free Relay) and
Nathan Decker (800 Free Relay).

Emelia Erikson.
The regular season features four home dual meets and one home dive invite at Burdick Pool along with five road dual meets and two road invitationals. Admission to all Towson swim & dive home events is free to the public.
The season begins at Burdick Pool with the Tigers hosting Delaware for Alumni/Parents weekend on Saturday, September 26, diving begins at 10 a.m. with the swimming events scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. start.
Next, Towson welcomes Georgetown on Friday, October 2, with swimming at 3 p.m. followed by diving at 6 p.m. Then the Tigers hit the road and visit LaSalle on Saturday, October 3 with the dual meet scheduled to start at noon.
Fall invitational season then begins for the Tigers starting with the Thomas Murphy Invite, hosted by Loyola Baltimore from Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25. All three days begin with 10 a.m. preliminary heats before finals start at 6 p.m.
Midseason continues with the Patriot Invitational hosted George Mason from Wednesday, November 18 until Saturday, November 21. Wednesday will see opening night relays starting at 6 p.m. and the following three days begin with prelims at 10 a.m. before 6 p.m. finals.
Qualified swimmers will then turn their attention to the US Open hosted at the University of Texas from December 2 through December 5.
Towson closes out 2026 with two more road dual meets, first a trip back to George Mason to face the Patriots on December 18 at noon. Then the Towson men will take a short trip to Navy on New Years Eve for a dual meet starting at 11 a.m.
The 2027 portion of the schedule begins on Wednesday, January 13 when the Tigers host Howard for a dual meet which will see diving start at 10 a.m. before the swimming events at 12:30. Then on Friday, January 15, the Tigers visit George Washington for another dual meet starting with diving at 9 a.m. and concluding with swimming at noon.
Next up for the Tigers is the final home dual meet of the season, Towson will host Coastal Athletic Association rivals Drexel for senior day on Saturday, January 23. Diving will start at 10 a.m. before the swimming events at 12:30 p.m.
The Tigers close out the regular season with a final road dual meet at UMBC at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 30. The postseason will begin with the Cavalier Invite at the University of Virgina from February 4 through February 6. Then the Towson Winter Diving Invite will take place on Saturday, February 6 at noon.
The 2027 CAA Championships are being hosted by Hampton at the Hampton Virginia Aqua plex from February 24 until February 27. Then any qualified divers will move on to NCAA Zone "A" Diving hosted at Rutgers University from March 8 until March 10.
Qualified swimmers will then be set for the NCAA Championships, both the men's and women's championships will be hosted at the University of Texas. The women's NCAA's will take place from March 17 through March 20 followed by the men's NCAA's from March 24 until March 27.
