Justin Mabus had a big weekend, helping lead Towson to its fifth CAA title and second in the last three years, finishing with seven points on four goals and three assists. Towson topped Drexel 11-8 in the semifinals thanks to a season-best two goals and two assists from the senior co-captain. Mabus then tallied the game-winning goal in dramatic fashion, collecting a looseball in front of the crease finishing with a nifty behind-the-back, no-ook shot to take down UMass 9-8 in the championship game. Mabus' goal earned him the No. 4 spot on SportsCenter's coveted Top 10 list Saturday evening/Sunday morning.
