Tyler White was a force in goal for Towson men's lacrosse this season, as he set the program record for goals against average while posting a 7.57 GAA. White and his defense held opponents to single-digit goals in 15 of the 18 games and won the team's fifth Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championship. White helped the Tigers rally to beat High Point in the First Four game and gave No. 1 seed Notre Dame all it could handle in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. White made saves at a 56.7 percent clip, which ranks fifth in single-season program history. White backstopped the Tigers, who received votes or were ranked all season, in a 6-3 win over Massachusetts, the fewest CAA goals allowed in the Shawn Nadelen Era (since 2012). White earned several honors so far this year, including USILA Division I Defensive Player of the Week accolades. White was named CAA Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-CAA.
