Katie Doolittle Named to U.S. National Developmental Team

BALTIMORE, Md. ? Towson University women's lacrosse assistant coach Katie Doolittle has been named as a member of the 2007-2008 United States Women's Developmental Lacrosse team, it has been announced by US Lacrosse officials.

 

A 2007 graduate of the University of Maryland, Doolittle was selected for the team after a three-day tryout at UMBC. A total of 98 players participated in the tryout.

 

The 24-player Developmental team has 17 current college players on the roster, including three players who just completed their freshman seasons.

 

A four-year letter winner at Maryland, Doolittle played in all 79 games of her college career and scored 105 goals with 24 assists. She was a two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection and helped Maryland reach the quarter-finals as a senior.
