TOWSON, Md. ? Despite three individual victories by senior Eric Pinno, the Tiger men's swimming and diving team dropped a 167-133 Colonial Athletic Association decision against William & Mary on Saturday afternoon at Burdick Pool.
Pinno won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.12 seconds before taking the 100-yard freestyle in 45.83 seconds. He also won the 100-yard butterfly in 50.46 seconds while helping the Tigers win the 400-yard free relay in a time of 3:10.16.
“The men did an outstanding job even though we didn't win the meet today,” Coach Pat Mead said. “We are a much stronger team this year and we have great promise. If we could have just taken back a few of the touch outs, the meet score would have been a great deal closer.”

Godfrey earned a second place finish in the 200-yard butterfly event while freshman Wesley Foltz followed in a close third place effort.
Junior Bradley Bolin earned a pair of first place finishes in the diving events. He scored 241.50 points in the one-meter diving event before tallying 248.35 points in the one-meter event.

The Tigers will be idle until October 25 when they host East Carolina in a non-conference dual meet at Burdick Pool at 11 a.m.
