Study Hall
The purpose of the study hall program is to provide an organized study opportunity for student-athletes who are in their first year of enrollment at Towson University.
Our records continue to show that regular class attendance combined with regular study hall attendance increases student GPA's.

Study Hall Overview
Tutoring Program
The mission of the Towson Tiger Tutorial Program is to promote academic excellence for all student-athletes. The Tutorial Program's objective is to provide academic support to student-athletes while they matriculate at Towson University.
Note to tutors:
The organization and implementation of this program is under the direction of the Tutorial and Study Program Coordinator. If you have questions, problems, or concerns, please discuss them with the Coordinator as soon as you are able. Please keep in mind that you are not here to do the student-athlete's work, participate in their sports, or inquire about tickets to sporting events. The academic needs of each student-athlete should be your priority while working as a Tutorial Program tutor.
The entire staff is here to help the student-athletes achieve academic excellence. As a tutor, you are part of the staff.

Laptop Loan Program
The academic support office makes available laptop computers for use by student-athletes traveling to away competition. All teams must adhere to the laptop loan policy.
When traveling, there are 8 laptops available for the coach to check out to take on trips for student-athletes. See the assigned advisor for the paperwork and process of the release of the laptops.
Tiger Career Development Program
The Tiger Career Development Program is designed with the student-athlete in mind. The program was developed to provide assistance for our student-athletes looking for help and support in their search for a career after college and athletics. The overall goal of the Tiger Career Development Program is the placement of our student-athletes in a career after college.
