NEWARK, Del. - Despite a strong effort from sophomore Wesley Foltz, the Tigers were unable to gain any victories during the second day of competition at the Colonial Athletic Association Pod Meet held at the University of Delaware on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers dropped a 266-85 decision against the host Blue Hens while falling against George Mason by 259-92. They also lost to UNC Wilmington by a 293-58 margin.
Foltz placed seventh in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:21.43 while placing seventh in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:01.19.
Senior T.J. Farley had a sixth place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:11.04 while senior Devin Kirby was sixth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.75 seconds.
The Tigers also placed fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:14.00.
The Tigers will return to action next Saturday when they travel to the University of Maryland for a double dual meet against the Terrapins and UMBC.
