TOWSON, Md. – Junior Zac Jelinek won the 50-yard freestyle but the Tigers (0-3) were unable to earn their first win of the season as they dropped a pair of non-conference decisions against Georgetown and East Carolina in a double dual meet at Burdick Pool on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers dropped a 238-60 decision against East Carolina while Georgetown earned a 159-129 victory over Towson. East Carolina also defeated the Hoyas by a 240-58 margin.

“Today was a great effort by our men's team,” Towson Coach Pat Mead said. “We had some great performances by our men in the meet. The continued improvement is something I am very pleased with.

“We still have some work to get done but today was a solid performance for our men's team,” Coach Mead added.
