Tigers Finish Competition at CAA Pod Meet

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Junior Wesley Foltz placed fourth in the 200-yard butterfly as the Tigers finished competition at a Colonial Athletic Association Pod Meet at the Seahawk Natatorium at UNC Wilmington on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers lost to Delaware by a 294-53 margin while dropping a 262-85 decision against the Patriots. The Tigers also fell to the host Seahawks by a 288-53 margin.

Foltz finished fourth in the 200-yard butterfly by turning in a time of 1:56.73.

Sophomore Joe Mills turned in a sixth place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:58.96 while junior Cory Ornstein earned 10th place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:54.15.

Junior Zac Jelinek also earned sixth place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.15 seconds while freshman Jacob Huston had a seventh place time of 2:13.99 in the 200-yard breaststroke.

The Tigers will visit the University of Maryland next Saturday for a double dual meet against the host Terrapins and UMBC at 1 p.m.
