TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's swimming and diving program will hold its first meet of 2015 on Saturday as it hosts McDaniel. The meet, will be held at Burdick Pool, is set to begin at 1 p.m.

The Tigers (5-1 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association) have not been in action since before the holiday break when five members of the team competed at the 2014 AT&T Winter Nationals Championship. Senior
Matt Lowe had a strong performance at the competition, timing 15:31.14 to place 19th in the 1650-yard freestyle.

Lowe is one of the top CAA swimmers this season, posting the top time in the league in the 1650-yard freestyle and holding top-five times for the 500 and 1000-yard freestyles as well as the 200-yard butterfly.

Brandon Ress holds the fastest time in the league this season for the 500-yard freestyle and the second-fastest time for the 1000-yard freestyle, second only to fellow senior

Matt Collingwood hold the second and third-fastest times for the 1650-yard freestyle, respectfully.

Matt McKenney holds the second-fastest season time in the CAA in the 200-yard butterfly and the third-fastest season time in the CAA for the 100-yard butterfly.

Sawyer Martin has the third-fastest season time among CAA swimmers for the 200-yard freestyle.

The Tigers will travel on Saturday, Jan. 17 to take on conference rival Delaware at 1 p.m.
