Hosting its first Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) game of the season, the Tigers faced a tall task in stopping James Madison's potent offense. The Tigers hung with the Dukes for the first half before the JMU offense began clicking. No. 5 James Madison took a 51-30 win at Johnny Unitas Stadium Saturday night.

Despite the score, the Tigers got big plays from several places, including a program kickoff return record from true freshman Lyrics Klugh, who racked up 211 return yards, shattering the previous mark of 182 yards set in 1990. Klugh took kicks back for 77 and 65 yards during the game, helping bolster his total. Connor Frazier threw three touchdowns, hitting Christian Summers for a pair.

Saturday's game was the Pink Game for the Tigers, who welcomed The Red Devils. Pink pompoms and red balloons were given out at the entrances to Johnny Unitas Stadium to help promote breast cancer awareness.
