TOWSON, Md. – Six games against teams that reached the 2015 NCAA Tournament highlight the 2016 Towson University women's lacrosse schedule released by Head coach
Sonia LaMonica.
The Tigers, who reached the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championship game for the fifth straight year in 2015, welcome back 22 letter winners for their sixth season with LaMonica at the helm.
"Last season saw us falling just short of some program changing upsets and those adversities that have fueled a hunger for our returners," said LaMonica. "The beauty of our job as collegiate coaches is it's a new year and we get to revamp schedules and try again, having gained valuable experience from the prior years. I feel fortunate that here at Towson we can continue to create schedules that helps set the stage for conference and post season success, and at the end of the day I believe that helps facilitate an exceptional experience for our student-athletes. We look forward to an exciting season."
