vs. Oklahoma State
The Tigers and Cowboys are meeting for the first time on the hardwood.  The game will mark the ninth meeting against a team from the Big 12.  Towson is 1-7 all-time against current members of the Big 12.

Scouting the Field
Towson will either face Ole Miss or George Mason in the second round of the tournament.  A meeting with Ole Miss would mark the first meeting between the two schools, while a date with George Mason would mark the 42nd meeting between the two schools.  The Tigers and Patriots are set to meet in Towson on Dec. 2.

Playing in a Familiar Arena
The Charleston Classic will be played in TD Arena, a place where the Tigers have enjoyed some success.  Towson is 3-1 all-time in the arena.

Skerry and Ford on Opposite Sidelines
Thursday's game will not be the first time Pat Skerry and Travis Ford have been on opposite sidelines.  The two faced off against each other from 2005-08 when Skerry was an assistant at Rhode Island and Ford was the head coach at UMass.  Towson assistant Kevin Clark was also an assistant at URI at the time.

Getting to the Line
Towson has spent a lot of time at the free throw line over the first two games of the season.  The Tigers have attempted 71 free throws in two games.  Towson is currently getting 32.4% of its points from the charity stripe.  Last season, the Tigers led the country by getting 26.4% of its points at the foul line.

Skerry in Home Openers
Head Coach Pat Skerry led the Tigers to their third-straight home-opening victory after a 69-61 victory over Morgan State.

Late Game Free Throws
Towson sealed the home-opening victory over Morgan State at the free throw line.  The Tigers ended the game by going 9-for-12 from the charity stripe in the games final 1:26.  Mike Morsell led the way by going 4-for-6, while Byron Hawkins went 3-for-4.

New Game, New Top Scorer
Towson will boast a balanced scoring attack in 2015-16.  Through the first two games, the Tigers have had two different leading scorers.  The trend looks to continue as Towson has five players averaging at least eight points per game.

Parker-Rivera Comes Alive in 2nd Half
Timajh Parker-Rivera did not attempt a field goal in the first half against Morgan State.  In fact, the senior had one point and four rebounds at the half.  That all changed with a steal and a slam early in the second half.  He followed it up with a bucket down low and an old-fashioned three-point play.  TJ finished the game with eight points and eight rebounds.

Davis Working His Way Back
After missing most of the preseason with an injury, John Davis is playing himself into shape.  Despite only practicing twice in the last month, Davis is averaging 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.  He is coming off a 16-point, six-rebound game against Morgan State.

Up Next
The Tigers return to the friendly confines of SECU Arena as they play host to Gallaudet on Nov. 25.  Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
