TOWSON, Md. – The Towson men's swimming and diving program heads to George Washington for a dual meet on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. The meet will be held at the Charles E. Smith Center.

Towson enters the meet ranked fifth in CollegeSwimming.com's Mid-Major Power Rankings, behind Navy, Denver, Air Force and Caly Poly.

The Tigers are coming off a sweep of the George Mason POD Meet, defeating the host Patriots 205.5-135.5 and earning 220-131 victory over Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rival Drexel.

Towson won a total of 10 events and had 28 top-three finishes over the course of the two-day meet.

Tim Schade impressed at the meet, winning the 500-yard and 1650-yard freestyles. He narrowly missed a first-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley, falling to teammate
Colin Roddy by 15 hundredths of a second.

Nick Breschi finished the meet with two individual event victories and swam the lead leg on the first-place 400-yard medley relay. Breschi also swam the lead leg on the 200-yard medley relay that finished second.

The Tigers will compete next at the Pittsburgh Invite from Nov. 20-22. The meet will be held at the Trees Pool and feature eight schools.
