WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Towson men's swimming and diving program defeated George Washington 182-72 in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers won 12 events and had 30 top-three finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Brandon Ress won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:43.29 followed by Tim Schade in second-place (1:44.21).
- Nick Breschi earned a victory in the 100-yard backstroke, timing 51.50. Noah Pritchard finished in third-place (53.95). Brechi also won the 200-yard backstroke (1:54.30) followed by Zach Bishop (1:58.71) in third-place.
- Jeremy Liu won the 100-yard breaststroke in 59.07 while Joel Todd placed third (59.67). Liu and Todd had matching finished in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing in 2:07.68 and 2:10.98, respectively. Â
- Matt McKenney took first-place in the 200-yard butterfly in 1:50.52. Matt Sieffert earned the third-place finish in 1:56.72.
- Matt Hans won the 50-yard freestyle, timing 21.19. Zach Brech placed third with a time of 21.60.
- The Tigers swept the 100-yard freestyle as Hans earned his second event victory of the day with a time of 46.50. Brech was the runner-up in 47.92, followed by McKenney in third-place (48.46).
- Towson swept first through fourth-place in the 500-yard freestyle. Schade won the event in 4:37.87 followed by Ress (4:39.78). Sieffert placed third (4:43.59) while Aaron Magazine finished fourth (4:52.22).
- McKenney won the 100-yard butterfly in 49.81 followed by Brech (51.07) and Jack Saunderson (51.36).
- Colin Roddy earned a victory in the 200-yard individual medley, timing 1:56.54. Stefan Keller took second-place (1:57.78) and Pritchard (1:58.67).
- Towson swept second through fourth-place in the 1000-yard freestyle. Magazine was the runner-up in 10:03.06, followed by Andrew Snyder (10:05.28) and Ben Johnston (10:09.00).
- The Tigers won the 200-yard medley relay as Breschi, Liu, McKenney and Hans combined for a time of 1:33.75.
- The 400-yard freestyle relay earned an exhibition time of 3:12.67. Ress, Hans, Brech and Saunderson combined for the time.

The Tigers will compete next at the Pittsburgh Invite from Nov. 20-22. The meet will be held at the Trees Pool and feature eight schools.
