OPENING TIP: The Towson women's basketball team returns to SECU Arena for a special 12 noon start on Thursday, Feb. 12. The Tigers welcome Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) leader James Madison and local school children for the STEM education day.
SERIES HISTORY: The Tigers have a tough task facing them as James Madison comes to SECU Arena Thursday. The Dukes lead the all-time series with the Tigers 35-3 and have won seven straight in the match-up. When the two teams met in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) opener this year, the Tigers gave the Dukes their closest conference game of the year.
Precious Hall hit a pair of free throws with 18 seconds left which lifted the Dukes to the 67-66 win.
LaTorri Hines-Allen led all players with a career-high 31 points in that game.
SUNNY AND SEVENTY: The Tigers scored 72 points in the win at Northeastern on Sunday. It marked the third straight game and fifth time this season Towson has scored 70 or more points in a game. It is the first time since the 2003-04 season that the Tigers have scored 70 or more points in three straight games. Towson is 4-1 this season when it scores 70 or more in a game.
TWENTY TWENTY VISION: Junior guard
Dominique Johnson led the Tigers with a game-high 27 points in the win over Northeastern. It was Johnson's fourth 20+ point performance of the season. The Tigers are 3-1 this season when she scores 20 or more points in a game. The Tigers have gotten 15 20+ performances this season (

WELCOME TO THE BLOCK PARTY: Towson had four blocked shots to Northeastern's one on Sunday. Freshman center
Daijha Thomas had two of the Tigers' four blocks.
The Tigers have now recorded more blocks than their opponents in 14 of the 24 games this season. Towson is 9-5 when it outblocks its opponents this season. Four Tigers have recorded at least 10 blocks this season (

Ciara Webb-11, Thomas-10). Its the first time since the 2009-10 season that the Tigers have four players with 10 or more blocks in the same season.
THE FOUR HUNDRED CLUB: Redshirt senior forward
LaTorri Hines-Allen recently recorded her 400th point of the season and comes into Thursday's game with 415. After scoring 422 last year, she is the seventh player in school history to score 400 or more points in two seasons.
FABULOUS FORTY: Towson shot 44.4% from the field in Sunday's win at Northeastern. It was the second time in the last three games and sixth time this season the Tigers have shot 40% or better from the field. The Tigers are 5-1 in games when they shoot 40% or better from the field.
MISS ASSIST: Freshman guard
Breonn Hughey had nine assists for the Tigers at Northeastern. Hughey has 108 assists in 22 games for the Tigers this season. She has five or more assists in 14 games this year including a season-high 10 helpers against George Mason in December. Hughey currently ranks third in the CAA in assists per game (4.9) and second in assist to turnover ratio (2.0).
