TOWSON, Md. – The Towson Tigers baseball team will welcome CAA-newcomer Elon to Schuerholz Park for the first time April 17-19. The three-game series is set to get underway Friday at 3 p.m., and continue with a 2 p.m. first pitch Saturday and a 1 p.m. matinee Sunday.
The SeriesThe two teams are meeting for the first time as conference opponents. The teams have met six times prior, with Elon holding a 5-1 advantage. The teams played single games during the 2001, 2002 and 2010 seasons, before playing a three-game series in Elon, N.C.

Turn the Calendar OverAs the calendar turned over into April, the Towson offense has heated up. Through 10 games this month, the Tigers are hitting .363 as a team and have scored 101 runs. Towson has outscored its opponents by 19 runs and is 5-3-2 during the month.
2-Out RBIsThe Tigers offense has done a lot damage with two outs this season. On the year, Towson has collected 94 RBIs with two outs.
Chris Henze leads the way with 15 two-our RBIs, while

And the Winner is…it's a tieOver the last week, Towson has been involved in two games that have ended in a tie due to darkness. It marks the first tie for the Tigers since they tied Navy during the 2011 season. It is also the 10
