HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Towson baseball team hits the road this weekend as they travel to face James Madison in a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series at Veterans Memorial Park.  The series is set to get underway Friday at 6:30 p.m., and will continue at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
 
The Series
The teams have met 84 times prior on the diamond with the Dukes holding a 48-36 advantage in the all-time series.  The Tigers are just 2-12 in their last four visits to Harrisonburg.  The last time the Tigers won a series on the road was in 2007.

Towson will be looking to reverse a trend this weekend as the Tigers have gone 0-8 this season on Saturday's.  Towson is 0-6 in CAA play on Saturday's, with three of the losses coming by one run.
 
Battle for CAA Tourney Spot
With four weekends left in the regular season, Towson sits in 6^th place in the CAA standings, holding the final spot for the CAA Tournament.  The Tigers hold a 1.5 game lead over Delaware, two games over Hofstra and three games over James Madison.  Towson owns the tiebreak over Hofstra by winning the series.  UD and JMU still remain on the Tigers schedule.  Northeastern, who the Tigers host May 1-3, hold a 2.5 game lead over Towson for fifth place in the league.
