WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Towson baseball team will hit the road for their second road CAA series when they travel to face Hofstra April 10-12.  The series will get underway Friday at 3 p.m., and continue with a 2 p.m. start Saturday and a 1 p.m. matinee Sunday.

vs. Hofstra
The Tigers and Pride are meeting for the first time since the 2013 season.  The teams were scheduled to play at Schuerholz Park last season, but all three games were rained out.  Towson swept the three-game series at Hofstra in 2013.
 
Tie Game
Towson's last game resulted in a 13-13 tie against George Mason.  The game was halted after nine inning due to darkness.  The contest marked the first tie since the Tigers and Navy were halted after 10 innings with the game tied 8-8 on March 9, 2011.
 
Bombs Away Brady
Sophomore Brady Policelli hit his team-leading fifth home run against George Mason.  Each of the sophomore's last four long balls have come at Schuerholz Park.
 
Bowles Surpasses 200 Hits
Senior Peter Bowles crossed a milestone in the game against George Mason he recorded his 200^th career hit.  He finished the game 4-for-6 and now has 201 hits in his career.  He is 27 hits shy of cracking the Top 10 hits list at Towson.
 
Bowles Over the Last 10 Games
To say Peter Bowles is swinging a hot bat would be an understatement.  Over the last 10 games, Bowles is hitting .524 (22-for-42) with seven doubles, two triples, one home run and 14 RBIs.  He has also scored 14 runs and drew four walks.  He has seven multi-hit games over that stretch, including three four-hit games.

Towson has found its offense over the past seven games.  Over that stretch, the Tigers have gone 4-2-1 and are hitting .349 as a team.  They have collected 89 hits and scored 61 runs over that stretch.  They are outscoring their opponents 61-47.
