TOWSON, Md. – The Second Annual Battle of Baltimore kicks off this weekend, feature teams from the Great Baltimore area and western Maryland. Loyola, UMBC and Mount St. Mary's will join the Towson women's soccer team in the Battle of Baltimore.
Towson's two games pit the Tigers against Mount St. Mary's on Friday afternoon with a 5 p.m. start at UMBC's Retriever Soccer Stadium. Sunday sees Towson head to Mount St. Mary's for a noon kickoff against the Greyhounds of Loyola.

Getting into the GameUMBC has set its ticket prices for women's soccer at $6 for adults and $4 for youth (6-12) and senior citizens (55 and over). General admission tickets for Sunday's game at Mount St. Mary's are set at $5. Groups of 15 or more persons over the age of 13 can get discounted tickets at $3. Youth (5-12) tickets are set at $3. Children under the age of four can enter for free.

The Battle of BaltimoreThe Battle of Baltimore enters its second season of existence. Last year, Loyola went 2-0-0, topping Towson 1-0 and Mount St. Mary's 2-0. The Tigers split their results, falling to Loyola and besting UMBC 2-0. The Retrievers also split, dropping their result against Towson while bettering the Mount 6-0. The Mountaineers are 0-2-0 in the Battle of Baltimore.
The Series: Mount St. Mary'sFriday night's game against the Mountaineers will be the first-ever meeting between the programs in the Battle of Baltimore. All-time, the Tigers are 15-3-0. Towson won 10 straight meetings with the Mount from 1997-2008. The teams meet for the first time since Sept. 1, 2013, a 4-1 Tiger victory at home. The two teams will meet for the first time at a neutral site Saturday afternoon.
The Series: LoyolaWith just five miles separating Towson from the Greyhounds' Ridley Athletic Complex, the two schools have met 15 times. Sunday's game will be the first neutral meeting in the series, which Loyola leads 12-1-2. Towson is hunting its first win since a 2-0 victory at home on Aug. 20, 2011. Despite the disparity in the series record, the matches have been close, with 11 of the 15 games decided by one goal or resulting in a tie. Only one match, the first meeting on Sept. 9 1992, was decided by more than two goals, a 6-1 Loyola win.
Off to a Good StartAfter dropping the first two games of the year by 1-0 counts, the Tigers have rebounded, going 3-0-1 since then. Towson drew 2-2 with High Point in its home opener before reeling off three straight wins for the first time since the 2011 season. Junior forward

Taylor Sebolao improved to 3-2-1 on the young season, collecting a 1-0 win Sunday at Iona College. Not only has Sebolao played every minute of Tiger soccer, she's one of the best backstops not only in Colonial Athletic Association, but the nation. Sebolao averages 7.33 saves per game, tops in the CAA and fourth in the country, while her 9.17 save percentage is third in the conference and 15th nationally. Sebolao's 0.64 goals against average is second in the CAA among goalies with more than two appearances. No goal in the league has played more time than Sebolao's 560 minutes. The Scotch Plains, New Jersey native has not allowed a goal in the last 310 minutes and has shutouts in the last three contests. It marks the first time since the first three games of 2006 season Towson has had a run of three shutouts.
Swiss TigersThe Tigers will play their 16th and 17th neutral site games under head coach
Greg Paynter this weekend. Since 2007, Towson sits at 8-3-4 in neutral site contests. Last season, Towson went 1-0-1 at the JMU Invitational, tying Massachusetts 1-1 before topping Xavier 2-0. Towson is 2-0-2 in its last four neutral site games, with the last neutral site loss coming 2-1 against George Washington at the Navy Invitational in 2012.
