Victor Earns CAA Honor
Running back Darius Victor earned CAA Offensive Player of the Week honors after rushing for a career-best 207 yards and three touchdowns against Holy Cross.

Victor Adds CFPA Honor
Darius Victor picked up another honor when he was named an honorable mention national performer of the week by the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA).

Two Bills
Darius Victor eclipsed the 200-yard mark for the first time in his career against Holy Cross.  He became the first Tiger to go over the mark since Terrance West rushed for 354 yards against Eastern Illinois in the 2013 FCS Quarterfinals.

Ground Assault
The Tigers offense put up 276 yards on the ground.  It was the most yards on the ground since the 2013 season.  Towson went over 200 yards on the ground three times during the 2014 season, including a season-best 261 yards against North Carolina Central.

2nd Half Surge
Saturday's game was a tale of two halves for the Tigers.  After a sluggish first 30 minutes, Towson came out and scored 22 points in the second half.  The Tigers gained 255 of their 410 yards of offense in the second half.

Pair of Interceptions
The Tigers entered the game against Holy Cross without an interception.  They left the game with two interceptions after Alfonso Augustine and Nico Law each picked off their first passes as Tigers.

Defense Secures Win
The Tigers found themselves in a similar situation that had a season ago; having a one score lead with to minutes to go and the defense on the field.  But, unlike last year, the defense did not allow Holy Cross passed midfield and secured the three-point victory.

Those Tricky Tigers
Towson reached into its bag of tricks in the fourth quarter against HC.  Connor Frazier took the snap and rolled to the left before hitting Sam Hurwitz on a 10-yard gain for a first down.  On the next play, Darius Victor scored what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown.

Up Next
The Tigers have their bye week before welcoming James Madison to Johnny Unitas Stadium on Oct. 10.  Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.  It is Family Weekend and will feature a crab feast.
