7 Games in 8 Days
The Tigers are entering their busiest stretch of the season as they will play seven games over the next eight days.  The Tigers play their home opener against Navy on March 17, before hosting a three-game series with Rhode Island (March 19-21) and Coppin State (March 22).

Last Time Out
The Tigers dropped two of three on the road at Norfolk State.  Towson dropped the series opener before coming back for a 6-3 victory in 14 innings.  The Tigers rallied for five runs in the ninth inning in the series finale, but fell 13-7.

Playing Extra
Towson needed extra innings in its victory over Norfolk State on Saturday.  After NSU tied the game in the sixth, both teams went scoreless until the 14th inning when Colin Dyer cleared the bases with a triple to left center.  It was the longest game for the Tigers since going 15 innings in the first game of a doubleheader against Pitt on March 29, 2013.

Stricker Streak
Junior left hander Kyle Stricker has not allowed a run over his last two outings. Over that span, Stricker has allowed just four hits over 11.0 innings.  He gave up just one hit over 6.1 innings to earn the victory over Harvard, and followed it up by allowing three hits over 4.2 scoreless innings to earn the win against Norfolk State.

On Deck
The Tigers play their 2016 home opener as they welcome Navy to Schuerholz Park on March 17.  First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
