TOWSON, Md. – The Towson baseball team will look to remain hot as they play a pair of midweek games. The Tigers will travel to face Delaware State Tuesday at 3 p.m., before hosting Mount St. Mary's Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

Gottlieb Wins 700Towson head coach
Mike Gottlieb won his 700
th game Saturday afternoon as the Tigers defeated Kennesaw State 6-5.
4-1 WeekThe Tigers enjoyed their most successful week of the season as they went 4-1, including a road-series victory over Kennesaw State.
Nonconference Road Series VictoryThe Tigers road nonconference series victory over Kennesaw was the first of its kind since Towson took two-of-three at Duke March 1-3, 2013. The Tigers had lost each of their last eight nonconference road series.
Speed TigersTowson showed off its speed on the base paths last week as the Tigers stole 23 bases in five games. The 23 stolen bases came in 25 attempts. In the victory over Coppin State, Towson stole seven bases. It marked the second time in as many seasons Towson had seven steals in a game, one shy of the school record.
Palacios Hit StreakFreshman
Richie Palacios has been streaking of last as he has hit safely in 13-straight games. Over that span, he has seven multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit games.
Palacios Approaches Freshman Stolen Base RecordRichie Palacios is closing in on the single-season freshman stolen base record at Towson. He currently has 16 stolen bases and is three shy of tieing Nick Natoli's freshman record of 19 set in 2007. Palacios enters the week tied for the CAA lead in stolen bases and ranks 11
th nationally.
On DeckThe Tigers open CAA play as they welcome Hofstra to Schuerholz Park April 1-3. The series gets underway Friday at 3 p.m., and continues at 2 p.m. Saturday and concludes with a 1 p.m. matinee Sunday.
