60-Hit ClubFreshman
Richie Palacios is looking to become just the fifth freshman to join the 60-hit club at Towson. Nick Agoglia (1997) holds the freshman record with 66 hits. Brian McKenna (2001) recorded 63 hits, Steve Farling (1991) 62 and
Mark Grunberg (2015) 60. Palacios currently has 59 hits.
The Need for SpeedRichie Palacios has put his name atop the Towson record books with his 29 stolen bases this season. The freshman is tied with Shane Justis (2005) for the single-season record. Palacios needs 13 more stolen bases to crack the single-season Top 10 in the CAA.
Alumni WeekendTowson will welcome back its alumni on Saturday, March 30. All alumni are invited back to a pregame tailgate and will be recognized as a group prior to the 2 p.m. game.
Ripken CupThe battle for the Ripken Cup is set for May 4 at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen. The Tigers and Maryland are set for a 7 p.m. first pitch.
