TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University baseball team will play its final home game of the 2016 when it welcomes George Mason to Schuerholz Park Tuesday afternoon. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.

The Tigers and Patriots are meeting for the second time this season. The teams met back on April 6 in Fairfax, Virginia, with Mason coming away with a 10-3 victory.
72 Hits
The Tiger duo of
Brady Policelli and
Richie Palacios are each tied for the team lead with 72 hits. They sit just five hits outside the single-season Top 10 list. The 72 hits are good enough to rank third in the CAA.
Stealing Teammates
The tandem of Policelli and Palacios have combined to steal 52 bases. Palacios has 32 stolen bases, while Policelli has 20. They are the only teammates in the CAA to have at least 20 steals.
Single-Season Stolen Base Record
With four games left in the regular season, the Tigers have stolen 86 bases. That is second on the all-time list. The Tigers need only three more stolen bases to tie the school record of 89 set in 2013. Four of the top five stolen base totals have come in the past 16 seasons.
Chasing the CAA Tournament
Towson enters the final weekend of the regular season sitting just one game back from the final spot for the CAA Tournament. The Tigers trail James Madison and College of Charleston by one game, while being tied with Delaware. The Tigers own the tiebreaker over JMU and CofC.

The Tigers close out the 2016 regular season at Northeastern May 19-21. The series will get underway Friday at 3 p.m.
