TOWSON, Md. – Two local establishments and partners of the Towson University athletic department, Bill Bateman's Bistro and The Greene Turtle, will host watch parties this Sunday as the 10
th-ranked Towson men's lacrosse team heads to Columbus, Ohio for the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship Quarterfinals.
Despite their home fields sitting just six miles apart, the Tigers will take on the No. 7 Loyola University Greyhounds on Sunday in a game televised nationally on ESPNU. Opening faceoff at Ohio Stadium, located on the campus of The Ohio State University, is set for 2:30 p.m. following No. 3 Notre Dame against North Carolina, which begins at noon.
Bill Bateman's Bistro, located at 7800 York Road in Towson, Maryland, will have food and drink specials, including a $5 appetizer menu during the game, with a $4 burger special following the Tigers' 2:30 p.m. game at Ohio Stadium.
The Greene Turtle at 408 York Road in Towson, will have food and drink specials as well, including appetizers on special at $5 and $7.
