TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's basketball concludes its season series with the University of Delaware Saturday afternoon. Towson will be looking to extend its winning streak to a season-high four games.
Towson heads to the tax-free first state on a roll especially after erasing a 16-point first-half deficit to defeat Hofstra, 86-80, Thursday night on the road. This is the second game of a two-game road trip for the Tigers, who are in the midst of their second stretch this month of playing three out of four road games.
Towson is looking to sweep Delaware for the second straight season.

Towson scored 54 points in the second half to erase an eight-point halftime deficit in an 86-80 road victory over Hofstra. Freshman
Zane Martin scored a career-high 23 points off the bench. He became the first freshman to score over 20 points in the

Jordan McNeil was also in double figures for the first time this season, scoring 11 of his 13 points in the second half.
John Davis added 14 points to move into 24th place on the Tigers all-time scoring list. Towson had five players in double figures for the third time this season.

A Look At Delaware
Freshman guard Ryan Daly scored 27 points while the Blue Hens used a late run to take control as the Delaware men's basketball team picked up its first Colonial Athletic Association victory of the season with a 69-62 triumph over Northeastern Thursday night at the Bob Carpenter Center. The Blue Hens are 6-3 at home this season. Daly posted his fifth 20-point effort of the season for the Blue Hens, who ended a three-game home losing skid. Cazmon Hayes added 13 points and a career-high four blocks. Delaware shot 44.0 percent from the field, finished 17 of 22 from the charity stripe, and held a slim 33-32 edge on the glass. Daly has reached double figures in 11 of the last 12 games. Hayes scored in double digits for the fourth time in six contests.

Getting 18 points each from
Brian Starr and
John Davis, the Towson University men's basketball team ended a four-game skid by defeating visiting Delaware, 83-56. While Starr and Davis, who also finished with nine rebounds, were the catalysts for Towson's first CAA win of the season, senior forward
Arnaud William Adala Moto added 10 of his 12 points after intermission to record his third double-double of the season. Adala Moto scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Starr, who was 6-of-8 from the field and 3-of-3 from 3-point distance, complemented his scoring by finishing with four assists and a career best four steals.
Jordan McNeil tallied a season-high nine points. Towson win the battle of the benches, 38-18. Ryan Daly led Delaware with 17 points.
Comeback Tigers
Towson rallied from double-digit halftime deficits in consecutive games during December. Towson overcame a 10-point halftime deficit (43-33) to beat FDU 90-87 on Dec. 10 and a 13-point halftime deficit (40-27) to edge UMBC 73-72 on Dec. 17. For the season, Towson has rallied from three double-digit deficits to win games this season. The Tigers trailed Hofstra 32-16 with 6:46 remaining in the first half before coming back to win, 86-80, on Jan. 19.
Sensational Second Halves
The Tigers made 19 of 29 shots (65.5 percent) in the second half against UMBC. It was their highest shooting second half of the season. Towson made 63 percent of its shots (17-for-27) against Morgan State. Towson has shot at least 50 percent in the second half eight times this season. The Tigers scored 57 points in the 2nd half against FDU and 54 against Hofstra.
Autism Awareness Game
Towson will host William & Mary in its third annual Autism Awareness Game on Saturday, Feb. 4.
