ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Towson University men's swimming and diving junior
Jack Saunderson posted all three of the Tigers' individual event wins as they split a tri-meet at the United States Naval Academy on Friday. Towson defeated Johns Hopkins, 172.50-115.50, while following to host Navy, 180-117.
Towson had 11 top-three finishes. Saunderson posted victories in the 100 and 200-yard butterfly as well as the 200-yard individual medley. Freshman

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saunderson posted his fastest times of the season so far in the 100 fly at 48.97 seconds and the 200 IM at 1:55.04.
- Nelson placed second in the 200-yard backstroke in 1:54.00 which is the fastest time of the season for the Tigers. He also placed third in the 100 back in a team-best time of 51.51 seconds.
- Keller was second in the 200 IM behind Saunderson with a time of 1:56.71 while posting a third-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke in a team-best time of 2:07.42.
- Senior Nick Essing was third in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 21.51 seconds.
- Junior Evan Brophy placed third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of team-best time of 4:42.83.
- Senior Spencer Franklin was third in the 100 fly with a mark of 52.01 seconds, four behind Saunderson's team-best 48.97 seconds.
