CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Towson University gymnastics team had its weekend plans altered as the University of North Carolina had to cancel its Friday night gymnastics meet. The quad meet with Towson, William & Mary and Wisconsin-Whitewater, was canceled due to an emergency water shortage affecting UNC's campus, declared by the Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA).

The Tigers will now travel to East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) rival George Washington on Sunday, Feb. 5. The Colonials are hosting New Hampshire, Ball State and Towson at 1 p.m. inside the Charles E. Smith Center.
