Tigers Face George Mason in First Midweek Game

FAIRFAX, Va. - The Towson University baseball team plays its first midweek game of the season Wednesday afternoon when the Tigers travel to face George Mason.  First pitch is set for 2:30 p.m. at Spuhler Field.

Plagge Delivers Walk-Off
Sophomore Bo Plagge gave the Tigers the walk-off victory on Sunday when he delivered a two-out single to left center in the 8-7 victory.  The hit was his third of the day as he went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.


Rally From 5 Runs Down
The Tigers rallied from a 6-1 deficit in the sixth inning to defeat UAlbany in the series finale.  Towson scored four runs in the sixth, one in the seventh, one in the eighth and one in the ninth for the win.


Palacios Extends Hit Streak
Shortstop Richie Palacios extended his hit streak to 13 games with a single up the middle against UAlbany on Sunday.  He has hit safely in all nine games this season and the final four games of the 2017 season.


Marriggi Continues Strong Early Start
David Marriggi continued his strong start to the season as he did not allow a run over five innings against UAlbany.  The senior lowered his season ERA to 2.35.  He has not allowed more than two earned runs in any of his three starts this season.


On Deck
The Tigers return to Schuerholz Park to host Ohio in a three-game series March 9-11.  The series opener is set for 2 p.m.
