LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Towson University baseball team scored six runs in the second inning on the way to a 10-3 victory over Bucknell Tuesday afternoon at Depew Field.

- The Tigers drew seven walks in the second inning. The walks were coupled with two hits to score six runs.
- Matt Watters entered in the sixth inning with the bases loaded and no outs. He proceeded to get a 1-2-3 double play and a strikeout to end the inning.
How it Happened
- The second inning proved to be the difference as seven walks and two hits added up to a six-run inning for the Tigers.
- Andrew Cassard started the inning with the free pass and was followed by a Dirk Masters single.
- Mark Grunberg got the scoring started with a two-run single through the right side.
- Colin Gimblet drew a bases-loaded walk and Billy Lennox followed with a RBI fielder's choice.
- Dean Stramara would come back out in the bottom of the second to throw a scoreless inning. That would be the end of the day for Stramara as he was on a strict pitch count. He picked up the win after allowing a run and striking out three.
- Towson added to the lead in the fourth with a RBI double from Grunberg before scoring on a double play groundout in the fifth.
- Grunberg started another rally in the seventh with a leadoff walk. He took second and third on wild pitches before scoring on a Gimblet sacrifice fly.
- Richie Palacios helped score the 10th run of the game in the ninth inning with a single to left center and a stolen base. A pair of wild pitches moved him to third and eventually scored him.
- Alex Cuas followed Stramara and allowed just one hit in three scoreless innings.
- Gavin Weyman earned his first save after allowing a run on three hits over the final three innings.
