TOWSON, Md. - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced today that Towson University women's lacrosse seniors Emily Gillingham, Kaitlyn Montalbano and Tianna Wallpher have been named to the South Team for the 2018 IWLCA Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, June 2.

Towson and fellow CAA rival James Madison each had three selections which were the most among the 29 schools who had a player chosen. A total of 44 players were selected and divided into two teams: North and South.

An IWLCA Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team selection, Gillingham led the team with 54 goals this season, a mark that ranks seventh in program history, while finishing her career by scoring a goal in 29-straight games. A team captain who was named to the Tewaarton Award watch list this season, she finished her career ranked sixth in program history with 134 goals and 11th with 166 points. She is also second in games played with 77 and fourth in games started with 71.

A three-time All-CAA selection, Montalbano ranked second on the team with 16 assists, fourth with 40 goals and third with 56 points. She was named to the All-CAA First Team . For her career, she appeared in and started all 78 of the team's games since her freshman year in 2015, both program records. She also finished fifth in program history in goals (137), sixth in points (197) and seventh in assists (60).

A team captain, Wallpher was named to the An IWLCA Mid-Atlantic Region First Team and selected as an Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American. She finished second on the team and fourth in program history with 42 caused turnovers this season. She finished her career second in program history with 107 career caused turnovers and is just the second player in program history to reach 100.

The Senior All-Star Game will be held at Tierney Field at U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks beginning at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free of charge and the games will be web-streamed live on IWLCA-tv.com.
