TOWSON, Md. -- Week two of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference schedule sees the Towson University women's soccer team split time between the Tiger Soccer Complex and North Carolina.
This week, the Tigers host Northeastern University at home on Thursday afternoon for a 3 p.m. clash before heading to the Piedmont region of North Carolina on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match at Elon University.

Both sides put six shots on goal, with Towson's Megan Collins stopping five shots. Six different Tigers put shots on goal. Justine Stoner, Evelyn Neidert and Elizabeth Colletti paced Towson with two total shots apiece.
The Series: Northeastern (Series Tied 8-8-2)
The Tigers halted a five-match losing skid against the Huskies last season as the since-graduated Taylor Sebolao stopped 18 Northeastern shots in a 0-0 draw. Towson is looking for its first win over the Huskies since a 3-1 decision on Oct. 9, 2011, which was also Towson's last home win over its Boston counterparts.
The Series: Elon (Towson Leads 3-1-0)
The Tigers will look to continue their winning ways over the Phoenix. Last season, Towson knocked off Elon 2-1 thanks to goals midway through each half. Sam Lotti scored her first career goal in the 66th minute, a mark that stood up as the game-winning strike. The Tigers are 3-1-0 all-time against Elon, with all four previous matches coming in CAA action as the Phoenix joined the conference for the 2014 season. The Tigers won the first two meetings by a combined 3-0. Towson will be looking for its first win over the Phoenix on the road in the series. The teams meet in Elon, North Carolina for just the second time in the series.
Scouting the Tigers (3-8-1, 0-2-0 CAA)

Scouting the Huskies (5-6-1, 2-0-0 CAA)
Northeastern opened CAA action last week with a pair of victories, topping Delaware 2-1 in Newark before scoring an overtime win at home over UNCW in the 98th minute.
