TOWSON, Md. – This weekend the Towson University women's basketball team will return home for the first time since Dec. 4. The Tigers host Northeastern on Friday and Hofstra on Sunday in the first home weekend of conference play.

Last Time Out
Towson opened action in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) last weekend on the road at Drexel and Delaware. It was a streak-breaking weekend as the Tigers won both games, the first win over the Dragons since 2010 and the first win at Delaware since 2008. In Sunday's win, redshirt sophomore Kionna Jeter led the way with 24 points, nine rebounds and two assists. Jeter was joined by junior Nukiya Mayo in the double-figure club as she scored 13 and had eight rebounds.
The Series: Northeastern Leads (19-18)
The Huskies hold the series lead after taking the advantage last February. Northeastern has won the last five meetings, beginning Feb. 28, 2016. In the last meeting the Tigers traveled to Boston and despite a 20-point effort from Danielle Durjan, fell to the Huskies 79-61.
The Series: Hofstra Leads ( 35-31)
Sunday will be the 67th meeting between Towson and Hofstra (6-8), as the Pride lead the series 35-31. Last season the Tigers split, taking a win at home before losing on the road. While playing in Maryland, the series record is 17-16 in favor of Hofstra. It's been a fairly even series played at Towson.
