Last Time Out
Last weekend the Tigers spent their second-straight week on the road, heading to Hofstra and Northeastern. Towson split the weekend with a win on Long Island but falling in Boston. The Tigers had two players post double-doubles as junior Nukiya Mayo recorded her fourth of the year against the Pride and redshirt junior Ryan Holder had her first in Black and Gold against the Huskies. At Northeastern the road team trailed for a majority of the game but came within five points with 57 seconds to go. On the next Huskies possession, Danielle Durjan stole the ball but a missed layup gave the ball back to Northeastern and the home team ended with a nine-point lead, winning 77-68.

The Series: UNCW (Seahawks Lead 24-10)
Friday night will be the 35th meeting between these two teams. Earlier this season the Tigers traveled to Wilmington and fell to the Seahawks by four in the final minute. Towson led by as many as seven points in what was mostly a back-and-forth game, while redshirt sophomore Kionna Jeter recorded a 57 percent shooting day. The Tigers entered the last quarter leading by five and held a three-point lead with five minutes remaining. One missed jumper and two turnovers gave UNCW the time to take the lead by as many as five in the last 40 seconds.

The Series: Charleston (Towson Leads 9-4)
Sunday will be the 14th meeting between Towson and Charleston. At home the Tigers lead the series 4-1 and have won the last two overall meetings, including a 77-61 win in South Carolina last month.
