TOWSON, Md. – Towson University women's gymnastics team competes against Mid-American Conference (MAC) opponents Bowling Green and Western Michigan this weekend.
It will be a homecoming for Ohio native's freshmen
Nikki Borkowski and junior
Zoey Packard when the Tigers travel to Bowling Green, Ohio on Friday, Feb. 15. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. inside of Anderson Arena.
On Sunday, Feb. 17 Towson will travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan to face Western Michigan at 1 p.m. inside Read Fieldhouse/University Arena.

Tigers Last Time Out
Towson fell to UNC last Saturday, Feb. 10 195.075-193.00.
Ally Wesoly won the all-around with a score of 38.475. Teammate
Leah Smith placed in second with a 37.750.
Mary Elle Arduino won on the balance beam with a 9.850.
Emerson Hurst tied for second with a 9.800.
Cortni Baker tied for second on vault scoring a season-high 9.800. She also tied for second on the uneven parallel bars scoring 9.750.
Scouting the Falcons
Bowling Green hosted a tri-meet last Friday evening, competing against Ball State (194.075) and Lindenwood (195.350). The Falcons placed third with a score of 192.625.
Jovannah East tied for the meet high score on vault with a 9.825. Elena Lawson and Taylor Worthington scored identical 9.775 marks.
Leslie Delgado posted a 9.850 on bars and Lexi Augustine scored a 9.750 bars.
Paige Bachner posted a career-best 9.825 on beam.
Lexi Augustine had a 9.800 tying for second place.
Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan fell to Eastern Michigan last Friday 194.850-193.725.
Rachael Underwood turned in a first-place finish with a career-high 9.900.
Sophomore Morgan Spence tied for first on vault with a 9.725. She also placed third on the floor exercise (9.775).
Amelia Mohler took third on beam with a 9.850.
National Rankings
Emerson Hurst is ranked second in the league on balance beam with an average score of 9.835 and a high score of 9.875.
Ally Wesoly is ranked fourth in conference in the all-around with an average score of 38.640 and a high score of 38.950. She is tied for eleventh on the uneven bars (9.740 avg., 9.850 high), 17th on vault (9.690 avg., 9.750 high) and 24th on beam (9.670 avg., 9.800 high).
Cortni Baker is ranked 12th in conference on vault with an average score of 9.720 and a high score of 9.800. She is 19th on floor (9.760 avg., 9.825 high) and 15th on the uneven bars (9.690 avg., 9.750 high).
Leah Smith is ranked 23rd in conference on the uneven bars with a 9.617 average and a high score of 9.725.
Mary Elle Arduino is tied for 7th in conference on beam with a 9.770 average and a high score of 9.875. She is tied for 19th in conference on the uneven bars (9.644 avg., 9.700 high) and 22nd on floor (9.731 avg., 9.750 high).
Tigers in the Community
•Towson is the Division I national champion of the NCAA Team Works Helper Helper Competition for the Fall 2018 semester. Towson completed the most community service hours among all schools in the competition, including 75 different Division I departments and approximately 300 total programs across the country.
•The Tigers have been chaperones at a clinic in Pennsylvania as well as helping with the High Performance Clinic on Sunday, Jan. 13 inside the Towson Center.
•The Tigers also host a kid's night out each semester.
•Throughout the semester, the team will have local schools visit to talk about setting goals.
