Ally Wesoly captured a first-place finish on the uneven parallel bars for the Towson University women's gymnastics team Friday evening.
The Tigers fell to Bowling Green 194.375-193.025.
How it Happened
- Wesoly scored a 9.825 on bars. She also finished second in the all-around with a season-high 39.050. On beam she had a score of 9.750 to tie for fourth. In her floor routine she tied for third scoring a 9.700.
- Melissa Temkov tied with Wesoly on beam.
- Leah Smith came in third in the all-around scoring 37.925.
- Mary Elle Arduino finished in second-place on beam with a 9.800.
- Cortni Baker tied for third on vault (9.750). Baker tied for seventh on bars (9.700).
- Jaz Kauffman and Smith tied with Baker on bars.
- Nikki Borkowski tied for sixth on vault (9.725).
- Tess Zientek tied for third on bars scoring 9.775.
Up Next
Towson will travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 17 to face Western Michigan. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. inside Read Fieldhouse/University Arena.
