ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Season best marks highlighted the day for the Towson University women's indoor track and field team. The Tigers competed in the Navy Select hosted by the United States Naval Academy.
Naja McAdam had a season best mark in the high jump. She jumped a 1.65m (5'5") finishing in second place.
How it Happened
- Shamika Burton finished in second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.75.
- Sydnee Minor came in seventh (8.03). Teammate Rachel Laryea finished in 11th (8.18).
- Burton also came in 11th in the 200-meter dash (26.49). April Sherrice Williams finished in 15th (26.96). Laryea came in 17th (27.08).
- Williams finished in 15th in the 400-meter dash (1:01.52).
- Kaitlyn Famiglietti finished with a time of 1:23.92 in the 500-meter dash.
- Shelby Bobbie was in sixth place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.21. Teammate Elizabeth Vaughn finished in 11th (2:24.21).
- Cummings had a 16th finish in the 1000-meter run (3:15.67).
- McKenzie Delahanty had a time of 5:28.06 in the 1 mile run coming in 14th. Melissa Graham had a time of 5:37.42.
- Nicole Bezborodko ran a time of 11:20.60 in the 3000-meter run.
- Ani Boghossian-James finished in 11th place in the 60-meter hurdles (9.66). McAdam came in 12th (9.67).
- In the 4x400-meter relay Deandra Francois, Aliya Williams, Cummings and Boghossian-James finished in fifth place (4:07.52).
- Gabrielle Janicki tied for ninth place in the pole vault jumping 3.30m (10'10").
- Jailyn Morris jumped 4.79m (15'8") in the long jump finishing in 11th. Jasmin Jones jumped 4.55m (14'11") coming in 15th.
- Jones jumped 10.62m (34'10") in the triple jump finishing in seventh place.
