TOWSON, Md. - Three seniors will be honored this weekend as the Towson University softball team take on Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) foe Drexel. The series will begin on Friday, May 3 with a doubleheader at noon at Tiger Softball Stadium.

Cassidy Meyer and
Nicole Stockinger will be honored at the conclusion of the series on Saturday, May 4. That game is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
Towson (24-25, 7-11 CAA) played a three game series last weekend at Elon. The Tigers went 1-2 in the series after falling in the last game 3-1 on Sunday, April 28.
Jessica Swistock hit her first home run of the season in the game.
The Tigers are led by senior Stockinger who leads the team in batting average (.351) runs (42), hits (46), RBIs (40) and has 13 home runs. She is fifth in the CAA in slugging percentage (.748).
Julia Smith-Harrington leads the team in doubles (16) and is second in the CAA. She also has 7 home runs and a .319 batting average.

Sara Johnson has a 3.68 ERA and an 11-9 overall record. She is third in the CAA with 132 strikeouts.
Scouting the Dragons
Drexel (30-22-1, 9-9 CAA) played a nonconference slate against Saint Joseph and fell 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon. Their only run came from Reilly Jo Swanson who stole home with two outs.
Linda Rush ranks first in total bases (148), second in hits (74), second in RBI per game (1.35), third in total RBI (70), fourth in runs per game (1.23), eighth in home runs (19), 10th in slugging percentage (.876), 15th in batting average (.438), 16th in doubles (17) and 21st in on-base percentage (.523).
Kristi DiMeo ranks second in total bases (142), second in total RBI (71) and fourth in hits (72).
