TOWSON, Md. – Towson softball senior Alyssa Myint has been named the CAA Player of the Week after her performance in the Tigers three-game series against Charleston this past weekend, the CAA announced Monday. This is Myint's first career weekly conference award.
 
Alyssa Myint started her 100^th, 101^st and 102^nd consecutive games for Towson at shortstop and finished the three-game series batting 10-for-12 with a pair of doubles and four RBIs, good for a .883/.883/1.000 slash line for the series. The Virginia Beach native improved her season batting average from .267 to .310 in the three-game set.
 
The senior started off the series with a 4-for-4 game on Thursday with two doubles and three RBIs to help lead the Tigers to a 5-4 comeback win. On Friday Myint recorded her 100^th career hit as part of a three-hit day, then on Saturday she once again collected three hits to help lead the Tigers to a series-clinching win on her senior day.
