TOWSON, Md – Towson University softball Head Coach
Daniel Stockdale has announced his coaching staff for his first season at the helm of the Tigers.
Felicity Munoz and
Tim Wampler will serve as assistant coaches;
Meredith McAlister is the Tigers pitching coach and
Brianna Perry is the director of player development/operations.
Felicity Munoz joins coach Stockdale from Delaware State where she spent five seasons as a player and two on the Hornets coaching staff. As a coach with the Hornets, Munoz assisted with hitting and fielding instruction as well as scouting and recruiting. In her first season as a graduate assistant coach in 2025, Munoz helped Delaware State improve from 14-28 the season before to 26-23. Munoz was elevated to assistant coach before the 2026 season and the Hornets again improved to 28-18 and finished second in the MEAC in the regular season and third in the MEAC Tournament.
Prior to joining the Hornet's staff, Munoz spent five years as a utility infielder at Delaware State and made 90 starts in 122 total games. She ended her career with 43 hits, 27 stolen bases, and a .960 career fielding percentage while never making more than four errors in a season. She earned a Bachelor of Studio Art in 2023 and a Master of Public Administration in 2025.
Meredith McAlister joins the staff as pitching coach after previously coaching at high school, travel, D-II and D-III levels. McAlister spent the 2025 season as the pitching coach for West Chester whom she helped guide to a 33-19 record and saw ace Danielle Ciliberto pitch to a 1.82 ERA in 165.1 innings. Before that she served two seasons as an assistant coach for Franklin & Marshall College. In her two seasons with the Diplomats, Ainsley McClure improved her ERA from 4.34 to 2.89 while throwing 40 more innings her second season.
McAlister founded youth fastpitch travel organization TNT Maryland API Softball in 2018 and served as owner and head coach through the organization's transition into Starz Gold API in 2025. McAlister also previously served as varsity coach for her high school alma mater Severna Park from 2005-2023 starting as an assistant coach before being named head coach in 2008 and going on to win two state championships. McAlister played softball and soccer for Long Island University from 1999-2001 before finishing her academic career at the University of Maryland graduating with a Bachelor of History.
Tim Wampler joins the staff as an assistant coach bringing over 40 years of high school and travel softball coaching experience. At the high school level, Wampler served stints as head coach for Caravel Academy, Wilmington Christian, and Red Lion Christian Academy guiding all three to top five state rankings during his tenure. Wampler also founded a youth softball organization which organizes softball camps and clinics for all youth travel levels.
Rounding out the staff,
Brianna Perry returns for a second season with the Tigers now as director of player development/operations.
